Vincent Van Obberghen (°1973) has been registered as a lawyer with the Brussels Bar since 1996.

Over the years Vincent Van Obberghen has built up extensive and recognized expertise in conducting complex litigation proceedings for entrepreneurs and companies. His field of legal action covers a broad range of commercial and corporate litigation: contractual disputes, real estate litigation, liability matters, shareholder disputes, corporate criminal law, post-acquisition claims and banking litigation.

In addition, Vincent Van Obberghen has acquired extensive experience in insolvency proceedings with a particular focus on judicial reorganization proceedings.

Vincent Van Obberghen was a founding partner of the boutique law firm Quinz in 2011. As a partner of Quinz's litigation practice until 2022, he was recommended by the Legal500 for the practice areas of Dispute resolution and Insolvency/Restructuring. He was described as a "hard core litigator representing various companies, insurers, and banks in high-profile cases" (Legal500 2022) and praised as a "well known insolvency litigator who excels in giving pragmatic solutions" (Legal500 2021).

Vincent Van Obberghen joined De Broeck, Van Laere & Partners in 2022, where he continues to develop his litigation practice with a highly skilled and professional team.

Vincent Van Obberghen is a former Secretary of the Council of the Brussels Bar and a former member of the General Assembly of the Flemish Bar Associations (“OVB”).
